today's walk: Honister Hause - Dale Head - Hindscarth - Portinscale


I've just got off this Honister Rambler bus at Honister Hause


looking down to Honister slate mine from the path up Dale Head

.. but a short way down the ridge the dale of which Dale Head is head is clearly visible ..
