Lake District National Park work party tending to trees at Burblethwaite

the job is to release the thriving trees from their restricting cages

one tree constrained in a cage ..

.. and here after I released it

.. and after attention with its dead upper branches removed

this one has already broken out of its protective cover ..

.. but here it is growing free
