this morning's walk: Aira Force

Yew Crag on the side of Gowbarrow Fell from the road beside Ullswater

the water level in Ullswater is very high

I'm heading upstream to the upper falls

the river pours through this bridged cleft with a side stream toppling in

a double fall above the cleft

the "official" upper falls

a smart new bridge just above the upper falls - I've long thought one was needed here
